Chelsea Murphy has over 20 years of volleyball experience in Tacoma, WA. She started playing club volleyball at age 10 with Tacoma Narrows Volleyball Club, played through college at Pierce College, intramurals and more! This will be her 4th year coaching with Kodiak VBC, she has coached 14's, 16's and now working this year with the 12's to continue to inspire some love of the game in young girls around our valley! She is a mother of 2 girls of her own, and in her spare time loves to hike, camp and play in the mountains. Chelsea is very excited for another year in community with your kids!

Assistant Coach - Johnna Rieke

My name is Johnna Rieke, born and raised in Leavenworth WA. I am beyond excited to be part of Kodiak Club this year, taking on my first ever coaching position! I've been playing volleyball since I was 9 years old, and my senior year as a Kodiak we won the State Championship. Volleyball holds a very special place in my heart, and I cannot wait to get back in the gym and have fun with the U-12 team this season, Kodiak style!"

Head Coach - Tony Mora

Hi, I’m Coach Tony. I have been coaching volleyball for four years. In addition to starting my second season as the Boys 18u coach, I started with a 14u girls club team, spent the last three years at Cascade High School serving as the JV/ assistant coach and just ended last year as the Varsity Coach. I have a passion for sports, starting from a young age, through my time as a collegiate baseball player, and I continue to compete on teams across the U.S.  I love playing and watching volleyball, some of my favorite teams are the women’s UW Huskies, Nebraska, and the Arkansas Razorbacks. My favorite men’s programs are Hawaii and UCLA. When I am not coaching, I work in Real Estate at Laura Mounter. I love to win and hate to lose, but the most important thing to me as a Coach, is to have FUN!
